At a cocktail party, we ladies are very similar to one another. Each of us places the name tag on our chest with “Hello my name is,” and any number of labels complete the sentence: woman, daughter, wife, mom, friend, (insert any number of random nouns here).
We are more than a familial title, personality trait, job responsibility or hobby. We carry hundreds of different labels, and there is so much pressure to be a mom+.
